On multiple realities: an interview by Bill part two.
Clock the box below for part two of that wonderful interview with Bill Kirton. He asks some really good questions. Guest appearance: Tahlia Newland. Take Two.
Meet author Bill Kirton and get fascinating insights into his writing.
Meet fellow Awesome Indies author Bill Kirton. He’s just had new covers done for some of his books, and I think they’re great. Cathy Helms of Avalon Graphics did it. What’s in them is really good too. I haven’t read all his books, but enough to know that whatever he writes is guaranteed to be a good read. Click the cover to find out more about The Darkness and click here to see all his books. Now read on for a chat we had recently about his writing and what makes it unique: You’ve written humour and historical fiction but your latest books are murder mysteries, what sent you in that direction? That’s easy to answer. I used to write mainly plays – for stage and radio – then, one day (and I don’t know why), I started a novel. It was the one which became The Sparrow Conundrum – a spoof crime/spy story. I sent…

Awesome Steampunk Typewriter and quote
Don’t you just love this steampunk typewriter? I just had to use it for another photo quote from The Locksmith’s Secret.
Skeletons in the past.
Here’s another short quote from The Locksmith’s Secret. Want to read more? You can go to Amazon and read the sample there. About The Locksmith’s Secret Ella’s locksmith boyfriend Jamie seems to be her perfect match—at least until a death in the family calls him back to England. While he’s gone, Ella discovers he’s hiding something so astounding that it completely changes her perception of him and his place in her world. While Jamie struggles with family responsibilities, Ella’s steampunk murder mystery is developing a life of its own, raising disturbing memories of her time as a striptease artist and a past life as a sexually abused Italian nun. She also dreams of an ephemeral city, where she seeks to unravel the locksmith’s secret and find the key that opens a door to other realities. All these, together with a lost brother, a desperate mother, a demanding cat, and a…
What makes an editor happy?
A happy client makes an editor happy, especially when they write a lovely recommendation to other authors about your work. I published this on the AIA publishing and Editing website yesterday. Simon Townley asks about The Locksmith’s Secret
As part of the celebrations for the release of my latest book, I visited Simon Townley’s blog and answered some questions he put to me. Simon Townley is a British fiction writer and author of the acclaimed sci-fi / speculative novels ‘Lost In Thought’ and ‘Ball Machine’. I’ve read both of these and loved them. His writing credo is to defy the conventions of the literature versus genre debates and aim to create books that are both well written and a cracking good read. Simon also works as a copywriter, journalist and editor. He lives in Devon, England, with a woman, three cats and his beloved Airedale terriers.
