What do you reach for? Kitten George jumps for toys.

October 14, 2015 by Tahlia Newland

Cat’s can’t resist things that move. They just have to stalk them, and if they’re a jumper like Prince George (also known as Kitten George, Twtichet and Merlin), then they’ll even jump high to catch whatever interests them that’s flying over their heads. In some respects we’re no different. We have things that interest us (clearly not everything that moves) and some of those things we decide we want, but how high will you jump to get them?

And what are you jumping for?

I think it’s good to step back from our lives occasionally and ask ourselves if the things we’re working so hard to get are actually worth the effort. Do we really need them? Might we enjoy life more if we stopped reaching and just took time to enjoy what we have?

Prince George doesn’t stop to think, he just jumps, but he’s a cat.

Enjoy the video.
