Some nice person submitted You Can't Shatter Me to the Indie Book of the Day people and they gave it an award. Thank you, it's a lovely surprise. I hope that it brings the book to the attention of all those people who could benefit from a fresh and empowering approach to dealing with bullying. People are saying lovely things about the book, but the word of its existence still hasn't got far. If you can help share the news, I'd appreciate it. What’s it all about?
If you've been reading this blog for a while, you should have noticed that I've just had a young adult novel published. I've had a lot of publicity for it on other sites, but I actually haven't gone into a lot of detail here, so today I've intervewed myself to give you a good idea of what You Can't Shatter Me is all about. Okay, so what's it about? Meanwhile, the bully’s increasing harassment forces Carly to deal with flying hooks, unflushable cowpats, and deadly dragons. An old hippie shows her an inner magic that’s supposed … [Read more...]
Review by Kate Policani
Awesome Indies author, Kate Policani, has written a couple of wonderful books 'The Disenchanted Pet' (science fiction) and 'The Lustre' (paranormal fantasy), and is releasing a new title with a cast of magicians soon. As part of the 'Celebration of Indie Excellence', she published a review of 'You Can't Shatter Me' on her blog today, so pop on over and have a look. Her books have a unique style, different and beautiful with a refreshing lightness to them. I particularly enjoyed the Disenchanted Pet. Click on the links below to read my reviews of Kate's books and click on the book covers to see them in the Kindle US store. I havn't read 'The Silver Collar'. All of her books are 99c.
