Free young adult fantasy book / metaphysical fiction / magical realism / Buddhist fiction.
This free young adult fantasy book is also metaphysical fiction because of its emphasis on using meditation techniques to defeat demons, and it’s also magical realism because the fantasy is all an analogy or metaphor for reality. The demons are your negative emotions, and the journey Ariel takes to the top of the Diamond Peak through the four books of the Diamond Peak series is the journey to enlightenment. It’s also Buddhist fiction, because the main characters have a Buddhist world view. So if you like the idea of Twilight or the Mortal Instrument series but with a touch of something spiritual, this series is for you, and you can start off with the first book for free by signing up to my newsletter.
