Realistic and Relevant: Pieces of Love by PJ Sharon; Review

June 21, 2014 by Tahlia Newland

‘Pieces of Love’ by PJ Sharon is the story of a grief-stricken, grumpy and slightly wayward teen sent to her grandmothers for the summer to keep her out of trouble. Grandma decides to take Lexi on a cruise around the Mediterranean, and Lexi isn’t pleased about it, not only because she’s going to be stuck on a ship with a bunch of old people, but also because she suffers from motion sickness. But this is a romance, so, enter the handsome young man and things turn out better than expected. This is a character driven story. Last review of the blog tour and it is AWESOME.

December 20, 2012 by Tahlia Newland

Day 19 of the blog tour has me over my peak download quota and facing a hefty internet bill for this month--I'm so far in the bush that I have to have Satelite internet and it's expensive--but my day was totally made by a review on Book Briefs that humbled me. There is nothing better and more inspiring for an author than to find a reader who not only resonates with their books, but also encourages others to read them. Thank you, Michelle. Readers like you make writing worthwhile. One little quote: If you like fantasy books at all, you HAVE to read Lethal Inheritance.    To find out why she thinks that, please visit Book Briefs, and while you're there help send some traffic Michelle's way. (Tweet it etc) http://bookbriefs.blogspot.com.au/2012/12/review-lethal-inheritance-by-tahlia.html   … [Read more...]

Fantasy Book Review: The High Priestess by Val Tobin

The High Priestess: Persephone’s Return is the third book in Val Tobin’s Tales from the Unmasqued World Series, and in it she deepens and expands the stories from the previous two book.
