I love analogies, and my books are full of them. I use them to embue my books with age old wisdom. I also love extended metaphors and that's the point at which a book becomes magical realism.  This short video, staring my daughter and her boyfriend, is a visual metaphor that I use in my book You Can't Shatter Me. I use a lot of metaphors in that story.   Check out You Can't Shatter Me on Amazon or find other outlets here.   Want to read more posts like this?
