I’m an incurable creative; I’ve even called my You Tube Channel that. Being creative is a constant in my life, not just in terms of my work, though I’ve been a performance artist, and are still a mask maker and an author, but also in my personal life. I love using photoshop to make book posters for social media and design book covers, and I make videos as well. I also like to be creative in my cooking, throwing different things together to get interesting flavours, but most of all, I love being creative with my clothing – much to the amusement of the people in my local village some times!
When you work from home, you can wear what you want, so I do.
Why not wear beautiful clothes?
Besides, if I’m writing steampunk (and I am), I might as well wear it!
The vest is a vintage men’s vest rescued from the costume trunk. The black skirt is vintage one of mine from the 80s with a belt that came with a different skirt from Fantasmagoria in Lithuania, and the blue dress underneath is a recent purchase from China.
Do you like being creative with your clothes? What do you wear to work?
