Getting reviews is a great way to get different perspectives on your book. What I like about these two is that although Lethal Inheritance isn’t quite their cup of tea – I always did say that it was different – both reviewers appreciate the quality. For me that’s the mark of a professional reviewer. Despite only 3 stars on Amazon, some of the things they say will help certain readers to say ‘yes’ to a purchase.
Interestingly enough, none of what they say surprises me. I always knew this book wasn’t for everyone and clearly those big publishers that rejected my agent’s submission knew that too. Even so, there are plenty of people out there that will love everything that is different and ‘spiritual’ about it. I just have to find my readers. If you have friends that you think might enjoy Lethal Inheritance, please let them know about it.
Day 14 Review by Leah
Excerpt: ‘This book is different. It’s not my kind of fantasy, but I can appreciate it for what it is. This book is definitely a fantasy novel, but it has elements of love, adventure, and spirituality, too. If you like a different kind of action-packed fantasy, you might enjoy this one!’ http://www.whiteskyproject.com/2012/12/blog-tour-review-of-lethal-inheritance.html
Day 16 Review by Shellyrae
Excerpt: ‘An engaging tale, Lethal Inheritance blends action, magic, humour and a touch of romance into a young adult fantasy adventure with an inspirational message.’
