A couple of years ago, I used animated AI art to illustrate a poem about meditation I wrote called All Is Stillness—a quiet reflection on the nature of thought and the spaciousness of mind. At the time, the tools available for AI-generated art and video were limited compared to the capabilities of AI generators today. The result was meaningful – at least for me – but I wished I could do the idea more justice.
Now, with the evolution of generative technology, I’ve revisited the piece. This time, I didn’t just illustrate the poem—I turned it into a song. The original video featured my voice reading the words aloud, but the new version carries them in a soft, meditative melody. It’s gentler, more immersive, and far closer to the feeling I wanted to evoke.
The lyrics speak to a particular experience in meditation: the moment when thoughts rise and fall like sculptural forms, rolling through the mind without disturbing its stillness. There’s no need to chase them, no urge to engage. They simply pass, and the peace remains.
Meditation isn’t about stopping thought—it’s about changing our relationship with it. It’s about learning not to believe everything we think, not to get caught in the swirl. It’s about discovering that even in movement, there can be stillness. And in that stillness, a kind of freedom.
This video is part of my ongoing Psychemagination journey, where art, music, and introspection meet. I hope it offers you a moment of quiet, and perhaps a glimpse of that spacious state where peace is undisturbed.
