Cute kitten pictures: my new Burmese kittens have arrived.

February 24, 2016 by Tahlia Newland

My new Burmese kittens have arrived, and as expected, they’ve taken over our hearts and our house. Mani (pronounced Marni) is the lilac, and Loki (pronounced Lowki) is the blue.

Thanks to Jacob Brookfield for most of these photos. I’ll share some more soon, and there will be videos of the little guys in action.

This first shot was just after they’d arrived and sniffed everything in the bathroom and porch. We had the door shut to the rest of the house until they got comfortable. It didn’t take them long.

Umm. This is kind of weird. Everything has moved. Even the house is bigger. Where’s Mummy?

Um. Wot?

Oh, there you are.

. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, – that was Mani on my keyboard. Oh, how I’ve missed that.

Whoops, tail on the keyboard now. I don’t know why they have to sit where the mouse goes! Maybe it has something to do with it being a ‘mouse’. I’ll just move him over the other side. Here he is.

This looks like a good spot for human company. Me new Mum spends a lot of time here, making tapping noises with her fingers.

Hmm. Now he’s sitting on the cushion I have on my desk just for them. Loki’s on it in this photo.

OMG. Is that … STRING!

Did you say you wanted a nice pose? How about this one?

I can pose too. I can. I can. Really I can. Just hold the string STILL.

See you soon. Or you’ll see us since our humans can’t stop clicking those little machines at us.
