Searching for a publisher – the next step

June 25, 2010 by Tahlia Newland

My agent has sent an email proposal for my book to  Macmillan Australia, Text publishing,  Macmillan in the UK and Simon & Schuster and Walden Media in the USA.

The news we want to hear is that one of them wants to read the ms, but there will inevitably be rejections.

Thanks for your comment on my blog.

As a rule I don’t enjoy YA fiction but after reading your first chapter I was VERY pleasantly surprised!

    Excellent prologue.

    I’ll be watching your progress!

Sounds promising, good luck with the publishers!

Thanks for popping over to my blog.

To answer your question about not being able to find my book there, I haven’t yet posted any extracts. If you search my posts for “Veiled in Shadows” you will find what I have said about it so far.
